Texas Dance Theatre
The group's Artistic Director and Executive Director is Fort Worth resident Wil McKnight. He trained at George Balanchine’s School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet; appeared in "Ray Charles in Concert" with NYCB; and danced with the Kirov Ballet at Lincoln Center in "Le Corsaire" and "Potemkin". He also trained with San Francisco Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Boston Ballet, and the Houston Ballet Academy. Wil also performed professionally with Colorado Ballet, New York City’s Ballet for Young Audiences, Ballet Long Island, and the former Ballet Dallas.
TDT is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization, and incorporated in the state of Texas. Gifts and donations to Texas Dance Theatre are tax-deductible in accordance with the terms of the law.
