Ballet Folklorico de Fort Worth is a nonprofit Mexican dance organization incorporated on June 2, 2005. Artistic Director Carmen Garcia has 30 years of experience as a folkloric Mexican dancer and her students - although young - have been performing together for roughly five years. As an organization, BFFW feels a great sense of pride to have the experience of learning and sharing their culture with North Texas audiences. It is for this reason that they are so delighted to have gained the community’s acceptance and support so quickly. They strive to be a huge part of the vision of the future of Fort Worth.

The BFFW’s mission is to encourage appreciation of the Mexican culture through the education of its history by teaching its traditional dance and music to people of all ages, thereby instilling pride and respect of its heritage. Along with the dancers, the BFFW Board, parents, and volunteers are very energetic and ready to serve the organization in fulfilling its mission. BFFW considers itself very blessed to have the support of the community and give thanks for all the support.
