Artisan Center Theater is an intimate 150 seat theater-in-the-round that features year-round musicals, comedies, and light dramas. Dedicated to providing the finest theatrical experience possible in an atmosphere as intimate and comfortable as one's own home, plays are chosen carefully to reflect Artisan's promise to provide fun and affordable family entertainment.

Artisan Center Theater came into being because of one person's desire to make family friendly theater-in-the-round accessible to both actors and patrons alike in the DFW Metroplex. As that initial dreamer told others about their vision, they too joined in to help make the concept a reality. When it came to naming the theater, many names were considered, but finally tabled. The first name chosen had staying power - it embodied everything in that original dream. A search of definitions was made and it was confirmed ... the perfect name for the theater was "Artisan"!
