Suzanne Charriere, Chair of the Board of Directors, has announced that Margo McCann has been affirmed as the Managing Director of Texas Ballet Theater, effective March 1, 2009. The announcement follows a unanimous vote by the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors during their regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, March 5, 2009.

Playwright August Wilson won his second Pulitzer Prize for Drama – and a Drama Desk Award – for The Piano Lesson, an engrossing drama about a brother and sister engaged in conflict over a piano that was once traded by their family’s white master for two of their ancestors. Part of Wilson’s acclaimed cycle of plays depicting African-American life in the 20th century, the production runs March 20 to April 19.

Stage West is proud to present The Norman Conquests, a trilogy of plays by Alan Ayckbourn. Each installment will open separately on consecutive weekends beginning March 19, after which they will run in rotation for three weeks.
