Q Cinema, Tarrant County’s source for the best in LGBTQ cinema, is proud to present Eleven Men Out, a film from Iceland that is set in the competitive world of soccer. The film will screen January 23 at the Four Day Weekend Theater in Fort Worth.

Texas Girls Choir will be holding auditions for new members throughout the month of January. The distinguished choir has performed in locations around the world, including St. Petersburg, Russia (pictured), Hong Kong, Paris, and at the White House in Washington, D. C.

Two blues bands based in North Texas will be competing in the prestigious 24th International Blues Challenge, to be held in Memphis, TN, from January 31 to February 2. The James Hinkle Band and KM Williams and Washboard Jackson will be performing at Arts Fifth Avenue on January 6, 2008, in a special event designed to help pay their way to the competition.
