Jubilee Theatre Announces the Resignation of Acclaimed Artistic Director Ed Smith

Jubilee Theatre has announced the resignation of their award winning Artistic Director, Ed Smith. Mr. Smith’s resignation will be effective August 31, 2010, at the end of the 2009–2010 Season. The organization’s Board of Trustees will embark on a national search in May for a new Artistic Director.

The Entire Population of "Greater Tuna" is Visiting the Granbury Opera House Thru April 10

Yep, it’s true! Ever’body who lives in the Greater Tuna metro area is camping out (and camping it up!) at the Granbury Opera House through April 10. Vera Carp is there along with Aunt Pearl and the Buemiller clan, and things aren’t lookin’ so good for Uncle Henry’s bird dog. Visiting hours are Fridays and Saturdays at 2:30 and 7:30 … y’all come say hello to these hilarious folks from the third smallest town in Texas!

Texas Dance Theatre Holding Auditions March 27 Prior to Season Finale on April 30

Cliburn Finalist Di Wu to Perform a  Series a Free Concerts Across Fort Worth From March 8 to 12

The City of Fort Worth’s Parks and Community Services Department (PACS) is partnering with the Van Cliburn Foundation to bring extraordinary music to city neighborhoods. Di Wu, a finalist in the 30th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, held in 2009, returns to Fort Worth to perform one-hour concerts in several Fort Worth community centers.
