Ron Tyler, Newly Appointed Director of Amon Carter Museum, to Lecture on "Patterns of Progress: Bird's-Eye Views of Texas"

Ron Tyler, professor of history at the University of Texas at Austin and newly appointed director of the Amon Carter Museum, will present a lecture entitled How Did They Do That? Artist Views of Texas Cities, 1871–1891 on Saturday, February 25 at 11 a.m. in the museum auditorium. This program is presented in conjunction with the current exhibition Patterns of Progress: Bird’s-Eye Views of Texas, on view at the Carter until May 28. The lecture is free.
