The Internationally famous Texas Girls Choir will be holding auditions for new members throughout the month of September 2006.

Three different full scholarships will be offered. Partial scholarships will be awarded to additional students on a discretionary basis. Students must register to audition and must sign up for an audition time. Auditions will take place in late August and early September.

Fort Worth artist Vernon Fisher will present the latest gallery talk in The Kimbell Art Museum’s “Artist’s Eye” series on Saturday, June 10, at 11 a.m. Kimbell membership and special events manager Robert McAn will moderate this session. In his talk, Mr. Fisher will discuss Jacob van Ruisdael’s A Rough Sea at a Jetty, and other works in the Kimbell’s permanent collection.

Aspiring young artists can develop their creative instincts at this year’s Young Artists’ Workshop at The Kimbell Art Museum. Open to children ages 12 to 15, the workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 13, through Friday, June 16, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
