Kids Who Care Holding Auditions for "A  Christmas Carol" on October 11 at FWCAC

Kids Who Care will be holding general auditions for their production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at the Scott Theatre in the Fort Worth Community Arts Center on October 11 from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Rehearsals begin November 1; the show will run December 17 to 23.

Texas Ballet Theater Seeks to Raise Over a  Million Dollars Within Next Two Months

Texas Ballet Theater announced last week that it needs to raise between 1 and 1.5 million dollars by the middle of October 2008 in order to regain its financial health. Founded in 1961 as the Fort Worth Ballet, the historic group is seeking to pay down over $800,000 in current debt while generating the funds necessary to cover their ongoing operating expenses.
