The YWCA Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream shop will host a silent art auction and children’s art exhibit on Fort Worth Gallery Night, Saturday, September 10th from 6 until 11 pm. “After Gallery Night” ice cream happy hour will be from 9 to 11 pm, with 2-for-1 Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Ben & Jerry’s PartnerShop® is located at 6115 Camp Bowie Blvd.

The Fort Worth Ben & Jerry’s serves up more than the world’s chunkiest, funkiest, most euphoric ice cream. The PartnerShop® is independently owned and operated by the YWCA, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and eliminating racism. All profits from the PartnerShop® support YWCA’s programs and services for low-income women, adolescents and children.

The Silent Auction opens at 6 p.m. and closes at 11 p.m. and contains approximately 10 works of original art by local and world artists including ceramics, photography and paintings. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the auction will benefit YWCA programs. The Children’s Art Exhibit will showcase the talent of local children ages 2 to 21, from YWCA Child Development Centers and other YWCA programs.

After the galleries have closed for the night, Ben & Jerry’s will offer two for one ice cream from 9 to 11 p.m. Buy one ice cream and get a second ice cream of equal or lesser price for free.

Formed as a separate 501©(3) (YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County Ice Cream Co.) with a separate board of directors, the Ben & Jerry’s PartnerShop® complements the YWCA’s programs of social services, education, leadership development and advocacy for low-income women, adolescents and children. Established in 1907, the YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County is the oldest YWCA in Texas and is affiliated with YWCA USA.
