The program aims to engage the imaginations of children and their adult partners through a story, gallery game, and hands-on activity.

The Kimbell Art Museum presents “Pictures and Pages,” a new program for children ages 3 to 5. The inaugural session of this ongoing program, entitled “The Way I Feel,” will be held on Tuesday, March 22, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

The program aims to engage the imaginations of children and their adult partners through a story, gallery game, and hands-on activity. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes, and is designed to encourage creativity and provide children with an early exposure to artworks.

March’s session features a reading of “The Way I Feel” by Janan Cain, followed by an exploration of how artists can convey emotion through line and color. Children will then participate in a drawing activity.

The program is free, but registration by Monday, March 21, is required. Early registration is recommended as space is limited. Maximum of two children per adult. To register call 817-332-8451, ext. 297.

The Kimbell Art Museum hours: Tuesdays–Thursdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.;
Fridays, noon–8 p.m.; Sundays, noon–5 p.m.; closed Mondays.
