Theatre Off The Square in Weatherford announces audition dates for their upcoming production of Witness for the Prosecution by Agatha Christie, on Monday, February 15, 2010 and Tuesday, February 16, 2010 with callbacks on Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Auditions will be held at Theatre Off the Square at 114 N. Denton in Weatherford and will begin at 6:30 each evening.
The casting call is for 8 men, various ages, and 5 women, various ages. Rehearsal dates will be announced at the auditions. Show dates are weekends, April 16-25, 2010. This show will be performed at the Parker County Courthouse in downtown Weatherford and will be directed by Lana Robinson.
Dame Christie’s suspenseful courtroom drama takes many twists and unexpected turns as a man on trial for murder depends on his shaky testimony which can not be corroborated by anyone but his wife. When she takes the stand, however, the mystery is compounded even more.
