Runway Theatre presents Lucky Stiff, a murder mystery, a musical, and a farce all rolled into one incredibly entertaining show that will leave your toes tapping and your sides aching! Sharon Veselic directs.
Harry Witherspoon is a mild-mannered English shoe clerk who finds himself in the middle of a lunatic mix – including a murdered American uncle; his near-sighted, jilted mistress; her hen-pecked brother; and several hundred dogs. It seems Witherspoon will inherit six million dollars if he can successfully go on holiday with his dearly departed uncle in Monte Carlo for a week. If he doesn’t pull it off, the money goes to the Universal Dogs’ Home of Brooklyn – and if there is one thing in life that Harry hates, it’s dogs! With a tuneful score by Stephen Flaherty and a well-oiled plot by Lynn Aherns, Lucky Stiff guarantees hilarity for one and all.
This play is rated PG-13.
