Johnny Simons, Artistic Director and co-founder of Hip Pocket Theatre, performs for a limited engagement with his daughters in a rare evening of pantomime, dance, puppetry, and song. They join together for the first time on any New York stage to undertake an unique exploration – as only they can – of the mystery of their primitive familial bond, their journey in a search of higher meaning and the majesty of a life devoted, above all, to each other.
Trio Molemo! is an original collaboration in celebration of the relationship between fathers and daughters that goes straight to the heart. Hip Pocket Theatre’s regular 2009 season will open here in Fort Worth in June. Auditions for the 2009 season are tentatively scheduled to be held in early May. More details to come!
