Casa Mañana is holding open auditions for the musical Annie. The theatre is seeking an ethnically diverse cast of girls between the ages of 8 and 14. Auditions will be held on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 4:00pm in the Rehearsal Studio at Casa Mañana Theatre, 3101 West Lancaster Avenue, Fort Worth, 76107 (in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District).

This engagement of Annie will be produced by Casa Mañana at the Bass Performance Hall for one week only, December 23 – 28, 2008.

Roles available are: Annie, Molly, Pepper, Duffy, Tessie, Kate and July. Anyone interested in auditioning must sign-in on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 4:00pm. Auditions are held on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring a current picture with resume stapled to the back. Potential cast members must prepare a brief song in the style of traditional musical theatre. Please provide sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided.

Call backs for all auditions will be Saturday, November 8 at 4:00pm. Members of the media are invited to attend the youth auditions and call backs. Photo and interview opportunities are available.
