The Fort Worth Opera will present the following three productions during its 2009 Festival, which will be performed at Bass Hall between between April 25 and May 10:
- Carmen, the classic by Georges Bizet
- Cinderella (La Cenerentola) by Gioacchino Rossini
- Dead Man Walking by Jake Heggie, libretto by Terrence McNally.
Season Tickets and weekend packages for the 2009 Festival are on sale now; single ticket sales will begin on September 1, 2008. Last year’s Fort Worth Opera Festival was a sellout. Don’t wait too late to get your tickets; the 2009 Opera Festival promises to be the best yet!
