The museums and Fort Worth Community Art Center in the Fort Worth Cultural District have designated September 27, 2008, as the third annual Day in the District. This increasingly popular event –- a celebration of the rich and diverse cultural organizations in Fort Worth – includes exciting, entertaining, and interactive programming and performances.

The museums offer free admission, and various performing arts organizations offer free performances in and around the museums. Outdoor performances and events encourage patrons to walk through the beautiful grounds surrounding the museums. This yearly festival is designed to invite local residents to enjoy the world-class cultural experiences offered in Fort Worth. It also provides an opportunity for those who are not aware of the various organizations in the community to discover something wonderful and new. Come on out from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on September 27, and spend an enriching and entertaining Day in the District!
