January 26 and 27 the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will perform two high-profile concerts at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York. Led by conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya, principal violinist Augustin Hadelich and cellist Alban Gerhardt, the Symphony will begin its New York concerts with a Saturday performance featuring Osvaldo Golijov’s New work for cello and orchestra, Brahms’ Double Concerto and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5. The following day the Symphony, joined by narrator and Hollywood favorite John Lithgow, will conduct a family performance of Prokofiev’s classic Peter and the Wolf.
