Casa Mañana President and Executive Producer Denton Yockey announced today the rescheduling of Dame Edna – Live And Intimate at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth.
Barry Humphries, the actor who stars as “Dame Edna Everage” was diagnosed with appendicitis and is now recovering from an appendectomy.
The performance, which had been scheduled for January 22 – 27, 2008, has been rescheduled for February 3 – 8, 2009.
In an effort to accommodate ticket holders, Casa Mañana is offering three options to make the rescheduling process easier. Ticketholders will be re-issued tickets for the exact same seating location, performance day of the week, and show time for the rescheduled performances. Should a ticket holder be unable to attend the rescheduled performance, they may receive a full refund by returning the tickets to the box office, or ticket holders may make a tax deductible contribution of the full value of the tickets to Casa Mañana’s Education and Outreach programs.
“I apologize for the inconvenience that this change in our show schedule causes, and hope that ticket holders will be able to join us in February 2009 for the Fort Worth premiere of Dame Edna – Live And Intimate,” Yockey states.
