Creative Arts Theatre & School proudly presents a special holiday musical treat – Frontier Santa, book by Frances Seidensticker, with music and lyrics by Fort Worth’s own Linda Lee.
Frontier Santa is the story of a group of orphans living in an alley in the rough and tumble town of Fort Worth in 1879. Christmas – and a Blue Norther – are both approaching and things look bleak. But rather than fuss and moan, the kids decide to do their best to make their own holiday celebration a success. They scatter throughout the town to gather decorations, food and presents for their own party in the alley – but tell Johnny that he’s too little to help. Too little?! Johnny sets his sights on finding Santa Claus to be their guest of honor, recruiting some of Fort Worth’s most colorful characters to help him. What they find is sure to fire up the spirit of the season.
