This November, downtown Fort Worth will be home to the first Lone Star International Film Festival. On November 7 – 11, the Lone Star Film Society, a 501©3 non-profit corporation, will showcase approximately 60 films on 6 screens all located within walking distance of each other in Sundance Square. Bill Paxton, star of the HBO series Big Love – and a Fort Worth native – will be attending the festival as chairman of the Advisory Board. The five days of the festival will be packed with movie premieres, panel discussions, and red carpet events.
