Tableware, vases, and artistic pieces are among the various types of pottery that will be on display and available for purchase at the sixth Annual Pottery in the Park Festival, sponsored by The Potters’ Studio of Lockheed-Martin Recreational Association (LMRA).
The Pottery in the Park Festival will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13th and Sunday, October 14th. Admission and parking are free.
Lockheed-Martin Recreational Association is located at 3400 Bryant-Irvin Rd. Fort Worth, TX 76109, just one mile north of I-20. The festival will be held on the LMRA grounds next to the Trinity River. After entering the LMRA grounds drive straight ahead, pass the second guard shack, the festival will be held in the picnic area.
Don Hudnell, a local potter will be giving a hands-on Raku firing demonstration. There will also be, face painting, a refreshment booth, live music, and rides for the children.
