Hip Pocket Theatre presents the World Premiere of a new show written and directed by HPT founder Johnny Simons. The Doggies and the Kitty is the tale of an elderly and eccentric widower who lives alone in the woods with his pets. This determined individualist refuses to participate in modern life, much to the vexation of his highly successful entrepreneurial son. The clash between the values of these two family members is accompanied by live music courtesy of the The Lake Rats.
Before and after each performance, cold beverages will be available in the newly expanded and renovated Backyard at Hip Pocket Theatre, and live entertainment will be provided by a variety of talented musicians.
