Well, not too far northwest – just off Loop 820. A change of scenery is always nice, and you’ll enjoy their summer season in a new setting at the Theatre Northwest space on TCC’s Northwest Campus.

Theatre Northwest is a comfortable venue with a thrust stage and a spacious glassed-in lobby area on a lovely, modern campus on the shores of Marine Creek Lake. Best of all, there will be plenty of parking available! The theatre easy to get to with many dining options available just north of 820 on I-35 in the Fossil Creek area, and several more one exit west on the Jacksboro Highway. Stage West’s Summer lineup of terrific shows:

Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music
by Lee Blessing, June 1-23
A sweet and funny down-home comedy set in Houston. Laughter and romance in the story of a failed nun and a bashful good ol’ boy.

Stones in His Pockets
by Marie Jones, July 6-21
Cultures clash as a Hollywood film company rushes to complete a film in rural Ireland. Two actors play a multitude of wildly different characters!

The Pillowman
by Martin McDonagh, August 3-25
The area premiere of this brilliant Tony Award nominee. It’s an astonishing story of fairy tales gone horrifically and hilariously awry. A gripping and sometimes shocking play, not suitable for young children, from the author of A Skull in Connemara.
