The Kimbell Art Museum presents its Spring Break Art Camp for children ages 6 to 12 on Monday, March 12, through Thursday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to noon each day.
This year, participants will create art projects, including painted lanterns and scrolls, inspired by the special exhibition Drama and Desire: Japanese Paintings from the Floating World, 1690–1850. Japanese folk tales, Kabuki theater, and other aspects of the culture of Japan will be explored. The materials fee for the camp is $125 ($100 for Kimbell members). A light, mid-morning snack will be provided.
Space is limited; to register, visit the Kimbell website, or call 817.332.8451, ext. 297.
