FORT WORTH, Texas – February 23, 2007

Two years ago Combined Arts Media, Inc. launched a website that provides information about cultural arts events in Tarrant and Travis Counties. Since then, www.guidetothecity.org has had more than three million accesses and nearly 300,000 unique visitors. Now, Combined Arts Media announces the creation and implementation of a unique online ticketing service specifically designed for small to mid-sized arts organizations featured on GuideToTheCity.

TicketsToTheCity

TickettotheCity Logo TicketsToTheCity was created especially for arts groups that heretofore couldn’t afford to sell their tickets online. The service is completely free to qualifying organizations, and the service charge to the consumer who buys the tickets is a fraction of what other online services charge.

“With this new service even the smallest arts group will have the capability of selling their tickets online. We’ve made TicketsToTheCity elegant without being fussy, simple and sophisticated without being complicated,” says Sean Foushee, creator of TicketsToTheCity.

GuideToTheCity.org Offers Local Businesses an Opportunity for Promotion

In addition to providing arts information and a way to purchase tickets online, GuideToTheCity provides opportunities for local businesses to promote their products and/or services to the thousands of upscale, sophisticated consumers who visit the site on a regular basis. Businesses interested in marking to the arts supporter who visit the site should email info@guidetothecity.org for pricing and other details.

“We’ve had great feedback from our arts groups, individual arts patrons and the local businesses already profiled on the site,” says Michael Click, Web Administrator for GuideToTheCity. “And now, with the introduction of our online ticketing service, we’re confident our site will even more popular with our arts organizations and their legion of supporters.”
