In a fun and active atmosphere, students will explore the principal elements of the theater and use these tools to develop an open and creative acting instrument.
The workshop will focus on Chekhov-based movement work, voice development, improvisation and audition discussion.
Classes are taught by Amphibian Productions company members who are professional actors working in New York and regional theater.
The workshop, which is for students in grades 9-12, will take place on the TCU campus from July 10-14, 2006. Sessions begin at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. with a lunch break from 12 to 1. Fee is $250 ($225 for Amphibian members).
