CDFW Dance Exchange: A  Choreographers Showcase

Contemporary Dance Fort Worth kicks off its 6th Annual Modern Dance Festival at The Modern with the 19th edition of the CD/FW Dance Exchange: A Choreographers Showcase.

This year’s showcase will include guest works by Jeff Slayton (Long Beach), Rebecca Enghauser (GA), Denise Posnak (GA), Shelley Cushman (Denton), and Phase 2 Dance Ensemble (Houston, Fort Worth, Denton). CD/FW artistic director Kerry Kreiman will perform the premiere of the solo “Verbal Translation” by Slayton to music by composer William H. Meadows (Austin).

The Dallas Morning News named this showcase one of the Top 10 Dance Events of 2005: “Vast space and rippling water gardens at the Modern proved an ideal setting.”
