Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents a blockbuster opening celebration that includes Rachmaninov’s enduringly popular Second Piano Concerto – celebrated for its enchantingly romantic melodies – performed by one of today’s most beloved superstars, André Watts. Beethoven’s Consecration of the House Overture, Peruvian Jimmy Lopez’ razzle dazzle FIESTA! and Respighi’s symphonic poem The Pines of Rome complete the program.
