Bass Hall presents an unforgettable evening with Lyle Lovett and His Large Band.
Over the years, Bass Hall has become this venerable Texas singer-songwriter’s home away from home. And his yearly performances here certainly have that home-like feel, with Lovett sharing his intimate, country/folk-flavored stories of colorful characters who zoom down Texas highways or plod along its back-roads, searching for truth, salvation, love or just a good hamburger.
He stumbled across many of his subjects growing up in the pin-dot-size town of Klein and, later as a Texas A&M student, living next door to eccentric equal Robert Earl Keen.
Lovett’s concerts are not just “shows;” they are events, subtle celebrations of the quirks and nuances that run through each of us – and make up each of us.
Location: Bass Hall
Admission: $47.00 – $79.00
