Bass Hall presents Johnny Nitzinger and Friends – A Musical Celebration of Sobriety.
Nitzinger is a Fort Worth born and based guitarist who wrote and recorded his first song at the tender age of seven years old. The dawn of the 1970’s found him writing songs for the Fort Worth band Bloodrock, and in 1971 he released a self-titled album of his own. Nitzinger later formed a band with Carl Palmer (formerly of Emerson, Lake and Palmer) and then toured in the early 1980’s with Alice Cooper. A proud survivor of cancer, Nitzinger now owns and operates Nitinger’s Music Factory in Fort Worth, a studio in which he works with children and youth to develop their musical talents.
