Much of the Americana music you hear today has been influenced, in one way or another, by Dave Alvin, a pioneer of roots-rock music. Making his first area appearance in years, the ex-Blasters guitarist and singer will revisit Blasters songs, as well as delve into his own rich catalog of country-rock barn-burners.
