Van Cliburn Foundation, in collaboration with Artes de la Rosa presents Piano Flamenco!, a unique live concert blending classical piano and flamenco music and dance.
This community event is free to the public, and will feature Colombian pianist Eduardo Rojas performing alongside members of the Dallas-based Daniel de Córdoba Bailes Españoles Company.
In addition to solo piano performances by such well-known composers as Albéniz and Granados, this lively and unusual program will include traditional flamenco dance and music performances paired with classical piano and guitar. Participating artists include Eduardo Rojas, classical piano; David Quintana, flamenco guitar; Mari Carmen, flamenco singer; and flamenco dancers Daniel de Córdoba and Tania Malagón. .
