Van Cliburn Foundation concludes its 2007-2008 concert series, “Cliburn at the Kimbell”, with an evening featuring Ingrid Fliter.
Protegé of fellow Argentinean pianist Martha Argerich, Ingrid Fliter made her professional orchestral debut at the age of sixteen and went on to take top prizes at both the Busoni and Chopin international piano competitions. She has since performed in capitals worldwide, generating the kind of industry “buzz” reserved only for rare musical talent. Attend this special Cliburn Concerts debut to find out why the Los Angeles Times labeled this compelling young artist a “pianistic force of nature.”
