Van Cliburn Foundation offers a special musical event designed to introduce audiences to Piano Now.
In anticipation of the 2009 Competition, Cliburn at the Modern’s artistic director Shields-Collins Bray curates a program showcasing new works for the piano. José Feghali, Andrew Russo, and Concert Artists Guild’s “New Places” fellow Jade Simmons will be among the accomplished artists on hand to perform selections by composers you may know (John Adams) and others you will want to know (Gerard Beljon).
