Major Barbara

Thursday March 20, 2008 - Sunday April 13, 2008
Rated: G

Stage West presents a revival of George Bernard Shaw’s beloved classic, Major Barbara.

Comic sparks fly amidst the gunpowder as Major Barbara’s Salvation Army ideals and liberal social conscience collide with the entirely opposite views of her father, a hugely successful arms merchant. This very smart and witty entertainment seems remarkably topical today, proving that Shaw’s sharp and knowing script is indeed timeless.
