Magnolia at the Modern presents the award winning festival hit, Bab’ Aziz – The Prince That Contemplated His Soul.
In director Nacer Khemir’s haunting film, a blind dervish and his spirited daughter wander the desert in search of a great reunion of dervishes. Filled with breathtaking images and wonderful music this fairytale-like story of longing and belonging was filmed in the ever-shifting sandscapes of Tunisia and Iran.

This film has not been rated. 98 minutes; Arabic and Persian with English subtitles.
