Magnolia at the Modern presents Moon, directed by Duncan Jones (the son of rock star David Bowie).
Premiering at Sundance 2009, this sci-fi thriller focuses on an astronaut who has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon, where he – working alongside his computer, GERTY – sends back to Earth parcels of a resource that has helped diminish the planet’s power problems. Sam Rockwell and the voice of Kevin Spacey star.
This film has been rated R by the MPAA. 97 minutes.
