Theatre Off The Square presents a generational family comedy, Over the River and Through the Woods.

Nick is a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey. His parents have retired and moved to Florida, but he still sees both sets of his grandparents every Sunday for dinner. This is blissfully routine – for the grandparents, at least! – until Nick has to tell them that he’s been offered his dream job, which would take him away from them. Thus begins a series of schemes by the foxy (but oh, so obvious) grandparents to keep Nick around.

Joe DiPietro’s script has been called, “A hilarious family comedy that is even funnier than his long-running musical revue I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.”
