Circle Theatre proudly presents Chesapeake by Lee Blessing.
In Blessing’s one-man show, the world is going to the dogs! The leading character, Kerr (pronounced “cur”), is a New York performance artist who imagines he has been reincarnated as the pet dog of conservative Southern Senator Thurm Pooley, a right-wing politico who is eager to cut off funds to the National Endowment for the Arts. A funny, insightful, and timely monologue that addresses the issue of government sponsorship – and censorship – of the arts.
Rating: PG–13 for adult content.

Students and Seniors receive a $5.00 discount off regularly priced tickets. Student rush tickets, if available, are half price, one half hour before show time.
