Artes de la Rosa, in partnership with All Saints Catholic Church, presents their first Christmas production – The Magic Christmas Festival / La Posada Magica by Octavio Solis. (A posada is a Christmas festival originating in Latin America that dramatizes the search of Joseph and Mary for lodging on the night of Christ’s birth.)
As the story begins, Gracie, a young girl, is distraught by the death of her younger baby brother. She then refuses to attend midnight mass with her parents on Christmas Eve. Later, she is then visited by a joyful, traveling posada. Reluctantly, she joins the posada learning the true meaning of Christmas. Complete with original music and colorful characters, this production is perfect for the entire family.
Directed by Rob Bosquez, this show wll be performed in English with a Latin beat.
