Artisan Center Theater proudly presents Larry Shue’s smash hit comedy, The Foreigner. Named by the American Theatre Critics Association as one of the best regional plays of the 1983-1984 season, this boisterous laugh-fest has remained an audience favorite for over two decades.

Finding himself trapped deep in rural Georgia, a painfully shy stranger decides to avoid making conversation by pretending to be an exotic foreigner who doesn’t speak or understand English. As a result, he soon finds himself caught in a hilarious web of intrigue and comic hysteria. Now, only a croquet mallet and his wits can save him from an increasingly chaotic mess!
