Moonlight and Magnolias

Friday January 11, 2008 - Sunday February 03, 2008
Rated: PG-13

Theatre Arlington presents a riff on a legend, Ron Hutchison’s Moonlight and Magnolias, directed by Michael Serrecchia.

It’s 1939 and all Hollywood is abuzz! It seems that the screenplay for Gone With the Wind just isn’t working out, and the expensive production has been shut down. The producer, David Selznick sends for famed screenwriter Ben Hecht and formidable director Victor Fleming who’s just finished The Wizard of Oz at MGM. Locked up for five days, the three men act out and fashion a screenplay that will become the blueprint for one of the most successful and beloved films of all time.

Contains language a wee bit stronger than “fiddle-dee-dee”.

Admission:

  • $17.00 – Adults
  • $15.00 – Students and Seniors with Valid ID
  • $135.00 – Group of 10 Adult Admissions
