David Sedaris and his sister Amy Sedaris were voted two of America’s funniest people by Entertainment Weekly. A regular commentator on National Public Radio, David has written several novels including Barrel Fever and Naked, as well as the best-sellers Me Talk Pretty One Day and Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim. Amy Sedaris has trod the New York boards in “Wonder of the World”, “The Country Club” and “The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told” as well as creating “Exit 57” and appearing on TV’s “Just Shoot Me” and “Sex and the City” and starring in Comedy Central’s “Strangers With Candy.”

Directed by Charles Ballinger, The Book of Liz tells the tale of Sister Elizabeth Donderstock who is Squeamish (has been her whole life). She makes cheese balls (traditional and smoky) that sustain her entire religious community of Clusterhaven. But when Sister Elizabeth feels unappreciated among her Squeamish brethren, she decides to try her luck in the outside world. Comedy doesn’t get much better than this!

This production does contain adult language and humor that may be offensive to some, but hilarious to others.
