Momentum Dance Company

Jacquelyn Ralls Forcher formed Momentum Dance Company in 1998. The original group of dancers ranged from advanced students to semi and professional dancers, and the group performed in small venues as guest performers.

Momentum became a 501 C-3 non-profit group in 2005 and now hosts 2 major productions a year in the Irving Arts Center. The annual production of "Nutcracker" is a fresh look at the holiday favorite and an audience favorite. The Spring productions range from Gala events with invited guest companies from around the Metroplex to full length ballets such as "Coppelia".

Momentum has performed for the Irving Symphony and the Irving Symphony League. Momentum was the inaugural guest for the Irving Public Library's Chataugua Program. The Spring Gala in 2008 premiered "Four Seasons" with choreography by Artistic Director Jacquelyn Ralls Forcher and Beckles Dancing Company Artistic Director, Loris Anthony Beckles. Momentum's primary goal is to provide quality dance performances in the Irving area; a city dedicated to high caliber arts groups.
