WaterTower Theatre is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Addison and the surrounding environs by offering professional theatre, innovative education and community outreach. To achieve this goal, WaterTower Theatre produces a wide range of creative endeavors: comedies and dramas; plays and musicals; classics by the great writers of Western literature, as well as new works by up-and-coming authors who provide us with original thoughts, fresh ideas, and up-to-the-minute expressions that reflect our modern and ever-changing lives.
WaterTower Theatre was formed in 1996 as the resident theatre company of the Addison Theatre Centre. Its inaugural production was the world premiere of Sandy Duncan’s one-woman show "Free Fall". Since that time, audiences have been awed by consistently strong performances and award-winning design. Current programming includes an annual season of five productions, two holiday productions, the "Out of the Loop Festival" featuring theatre, dance, music and visual art, a summer musical theatre camp for children, and various other education programs.
