Contemporary Theatre of Dallas (CTD) wishes to celebrate the human condition through a shared exploration of human relationships via quality live theatrical performances. Accordingly, they choose to produce plays that depict meaningful relationships of all kinds in all their natural complexity. Whether interacting with a parent, sibling, a lover, a friend or a child, CTD recognizes that we all struggle to connect, to communicate, to find intimacy, acceptance, tolerance, and above all, love.

It is the intent of CTD to examine human relationships as partners with their audiences. They hope that their patrons will discover that our common humanity and fallibility unite everyone, regardless of circumstances. No one is alone in their journey. That is the thesis of Contemporary Theatre of Dallas.
