For over thirty years, the Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico (ANMBF) has woven its colorful tapestry into the fabric of the community. While presenting dazzling performances throughout North Texas, ANMBF promotes cultural awareness, history, physical fitness, discipline, responsibility and teamwork. Those who experience the magic of dance through ANMBF develop a better understanding of the community's heritage as well as of themselves. Through its programs, ANMBF touches thousands of adults and children each year.

Founded in 1975, ANMBF provides a wide variety of services each year, including two semesters of classes and workshops; two major productions at the Majestic Theatre and the Latino Cultural Center; residencies; free community performances; and cultural camps for children. While ANMBF specifically seeks to instill cultural pride and awareness in Hispanic youth, it is also dedicated to educating the general public about Hispanic cultural influences.
