Kitchen Dog Theater, proudly presents a new adaptation by Leah Spillman and Lee Trull of William Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus. Christopher Carlos directs this world premiere event, which is a co-production with SMU’s Meadows School for the Arts.
Shakespeare’s bloodiest play has been transposed, in this fascinating reincarnation, to an ancient Mayan setting. In this unique setting, the Bard’s themes of revenge, justice and violence begetting violence remain shocking and relevant.
