“Go Wild with Art” at the Irving Arts Center’s annual family art festival. The free event is highlighted by three performances featuring artist Richard Hight. Watch as Hight creates two large-scale masterpieces, choreographed to high energy music in just 30 minutes.

In addition, a visual arts tent featuring hands-on art projects for children and teens will be open. The art projects offer a preview of the Arts Center’s summer camp program.

Other activities include an instrument petting zoo with Lone Star Youth Orchestra where participants can try out different instruments; “Snake Talk” with John Hunter where participants can meet and greet slithery friends; full-face exotic face painting; balloon artists; a shark attack bounce house and more. The stage will also be set for live performances by local bands Kinfolk and Fakie; dance numbers with Class Act Tap Company and Dana’s Dance Academy; interactive drumming and story telling with Len Barnett and Cathy Whiteman; and more.
